It has performed flawlessly. I purchased this monitor early in 2009. It is easy to rotate the orientation, and once vertical, it permits easy viewing an entire 8 1/2 x 14 document at more than 100% of actual size. I got it for about $225 on a special sale at the local Office Max. I use it daily for work in my home office. The finish is glossy, and attracts lint, so keep a soft dust cloth nearby. I have no regrets about the purchase, and would recommend it highly to anyone needing a low cost monitor that than be oriented vertically.
I choose it due to cost and I have been very happy. I have this for a little over six months now and I love it. I find the USB ports on the side very handy. The picture quality is very nice. My only complaint is the glossy screen, but I knew it had it when I bought it. It would also been nice if it was 16x9 rather than 16x10 but no worries. Totally worth it.
Hopefully they will honor the quality of their product and fix this situation for me.UPDATE: HP put me through many hoops, then when I had established that the monitor was in fact faulty, they claimed that the warranty had expired. This is a fine monitor with one huge exception- a huge pixel smudge, more than one inch long on the screen. I am having a devil of a time with HP TechSupport, nothing new there. Not sure why I had to go through the hoops if that was the case, but the fact is that they can sell a product and all it has to do is hide its defects for 365 days, then no matter what problem comes up, they are off the hook. Not very consumer friendly.I note that many other monitors come with a 3 year warranty- not this HP one.
He's happy, I'm happy. Husband wanted a second monitor to match the first. Found it, got it, love it. Thankful, blessed. Great seller.
Crystal clear picture, but the sound is not so good. I have had this monitor for a full year now. I have not had a single problem from it. I never really use the flip function. Not sure why anyone would.
